During our Weekly classes, you will learn professional, traditional jewellery manufacturing techniques that have been passed down through generations of Master Goldsmiths

Our weekly classes teach goldsmithing, diamond mounting, jobbing, model making, learning to fabricate cost effectively & efficiently.

Whilst training here at SoMJ you will gain a valuable insight into the running of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.

Students can use their own ideas/designs, you will then be advised, taught and demonstrated how to fabricate them.

You are welcome to work in base metals, or any precious metals.

Many of our weekly class students travel from far and wide across the UK and Europe every week to train with us at SoMJ, many attend for creative self development, many have jewellery businesses, shops or work for jewellers, we also train apprentices.

Note; Students need to have good basic jewellery making experience or to have completed an SoMJ Beginners Course before enrolling on a weekly class.
